As the parent of a high school junior or senior, you may have begun the exciting process of selecting a college for your future graduate. This is likely one of the most important decisions and investments you will make. To help you in your search, we would like to share the many benefits of our program, as well as the benefits of a career as an air traffic controller.

One of the most valuable benefits offered by our program is the return on your investment. The cost of the AATC program is a fraction of the price of a two- or four-year degree program. AATC graduates are able to earn what was spent on tuition costs within the first two years on the job.  Farmers and Merchants Bank and Wells Fargo both provide a one-year deferred loan re-payment program. AATC provides on-the-job training and job placement assistance.  In today’s economy and marketplace, the traditional fields of employment are shrinking while the demand for Air Traffic Controllers is increasing. Advanced ATC’s program was designed specifically to help meet the demands of the ever increasing need for air traffic controllers. Guided by more than one hundred combined-years of service in the FAA, we developed an intensive curriculum of training taught through Valdosta Technical College; simulation using Adacel simulators; and on-the-job training in partnership with the Lowndes Co.-Valdosta Airport Authority.
