Advanced ATC has designed its training program to not only meet, but to exceed the minimum requirements issued by the Federal Aviation Administration. Advanced ATC (AATC) provides intensive and extensive training. There are three categories of training: Classroom instruction, Tower Simulator instruction and testing, followed by On-The-Job training in an active air traffic control tower to give students practical experience.  

Students who successfully complete and demonstrate the requirements to be certified in all traffic control positions at our Tower facility, will receive a CTO (Control Tower Operator) evaluation from the FAA. Upon successful evaluation, a CTO certificate with a Facility Rating will be issued.  Students achieving this goal will graduate as a full-performance level air traffic controller (certified professional controller).
